An assessment designed to understand, not to label. Three assessments together build a clear picture of how a person thinks, communicates and experiences the world, so they and the people around them can access the right understanding and support.

The ADOS-II
A 50-minute, play-based assessment of communication, social interaction, play, and restricted and repetitive behaviours, completed with the client only. The MIGDAS-II (ages 3 to adult) may be used instead where it is better suited.
The 3DI
A 50-minute structured interview with the primary caregivers about past and present functioning. The client does not attend. A cognitive assessment (WISC-V, WPPSI-IV or WAIS-IV, depending on age) is also completed.
About the assessment
No single assessment is diagnostic on its own. Together, the three assessments give a clear clinical picture from which a diagnosis can be made. Assessments are conducted by a Clinical Psychologist, who is qualified to confer a diagnosis of Autism and will do so where the findings support it.
Before the assessment
Please complete the referral form and provide copies of any previous reports or assessments.
Payment
Cost: $1,500 per assessment, including reports. When all three are completed together, the reduced price is $4,000 (a saving of $500), including reports and the feedback session. Payment is required before testing, by cash, cheque or direct debit. Payment details are provided when your appointment is booked. The report is released once payment is complete.
